Parrots - well Parakeets

Had my usual morning jaunt around the park on Thursday with Big Pete. Whilst he was not paying attention I managed to find a parakeet on the ground, so I thought I would take it for a run. Big Pete got a bit upset and chased me around the park whilst I kept hold of this thing that started squawking as I was carrying it - all very ungrateful I thought. WELL I AM A RETRIEVER you know!!
Any ways after a bit, I got fed up and let Big Pete catch us. It didn't matter really as this squawker had shut up by them, I decided to let him take it away then.
That was fun though as Big Pete hasn't run so fast for a long time!
When he told me off he said he was worried that I might eat it. No chance I prefer pig and beef thank you.

Holidays in Scotland

I am getting behind in my Dlog - as Little Miss Naughty remarked to my Dad a few days ago.

Time flies when you are having fun, and I have been having lots of fun [although my Dad seems to have another word for 'fun' and that is 'naughty' - I wonder if it has anything to do with Little Miss Naughty?
After Easter we went on a long car trip to a foreign country called Scotland. I think it is where one of my friends comes from he is a white West Highland Terrier called Bobbie, and he loves to be chased in the park.
Any way the family had this thing called a time-share-swap and so we went up to a place near to Oban and stayed there for a week.
The journey was quite fun as on the way up we stayed in a very nice hotel and all the people made a fuss of me. This is it's website:

Then we went to stay at Melfort Village near Oban. As the weather was very nice we had a wonderful time and some of my Mum's friends who live in this foreign country came to stay with us:

I had a lovely time and was sorry to come back but I've had even more fun since I returned!!

Ani Skywalker comes to her new home

Hello my name is Annie [Ani Skywalker Dixon] and I came to live in Hampton in the New Year. New Year's Day was actually my birthday.


I came to live with my new Mum & Dad at the End of February and after my innoculations I was allowed out to play with lots on new friends in the middle of March. My dad is still very sad about his Princess [you can read about her on my DLOG] and I hope that I will be able to make him happy again over the coming months.
I am going on holiday after Easter to Scotland and am looking forward to a nice trip to my first foreign country.

My lovely Girl died on Saturday 29 August 2009 - she was everything a dog should be, and I miss her so so much.

Dad has retired

or so he says...........He immediatelty went on holiday with ALL the family EXCEPT me. Typical, but I hope he brings me some nice French food back.
